This season, USA Lacrosse will celebrate the accomplishments of players across Divisions I, II and III each Tuesday with Player of the Week recognition.

Players of the Week are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors based on a variety of factors, including individual performance and impact on team success.

DIVISION I

Wyatt Knust, Cornell

Pulled in the first quarter against Penn State on March 9, Knust proceeded to watch the next three games from the sideline until his number was called again on April 2 against Syracuse. He delivered, coming on in the second half to make nine saves and allow just three goals in one of the wildest games of the season.

That performance allowed him to reclaim the starting job, and the junior did not disappoint. He made 24 saves in the next game against Brown, finishing the week with 33 saves and a 75-percent save rate.

DIVISION II

Daniel Zabbia, Pace

The junior attackman had himself a week, netting 10 goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Setters. Against conference rival Bentley, Zabbia scored four times — including the winning tally in the third overtime.

DIVISION III

Jack Raba, Wesleyan

No team vaulted higher up the ranks this week than Wesleyan, and the Cardinals have Raba to thank. He had three goals and three assists in an upset of Tufts, and two of those assists came in the fourth quarter to help seal the deal.

The graduate student also had one goal and three assists against Amherst earlier in the week.
