This season, USA Lacrosse will celebrate the accomplishments of players across Divisions I, II and III each Tuesday with Player of the Week recognition. Players of the Week are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors based on a variety of factors, including individual performance and impact on team success.

DIVISION I

MICHAEL BOEHM, MICHIGAN

It was a rivalry game for Michigan in Ann Arbor against Ohio State. Boehm was ready. He deposited eight goals on 10 shots in a not-so-close 19-14 win for the Wolverines. Boehm scored four of his eight goals in a 10-goal fourth quarter for Michigan, which created separation after the score was tied at 7 at halftime. In four April games, the junior attackman has 16 goals and three assists.

DIVISION II

WILLIE GRIECO, WINGATE

Grieco could split this honor with Danny Riley, but Grieco was on another level against UIndy. He finished with four goals and two assists, but his four goals came on six shots, five of which were on net. He only committed two turnovers on the day. With an afternoon like that, especially knowing that Grieco is going to be at the top of the scouting report for the defense and a major focal point, deserves accolades.

DIVISION III

CHRIS BRANDAU, DICKINSON

Brandau is looking like the hottest goalie in Division III right now. Since April 12, Brandau has been a veritable brick wall in the cage. Eight saves and a 61.5 save percentage against McDaniel started the run, but he had three spectacular performances last week. On April 15, Brandau made 11 stops and had a whopping 78.6 save percentage against Swarthmore. He followed that with 17 saves and a 70.6 save percentage against Gettysburg and finished with 11 saves and a 68.8 save percentage against Haverford. Dickinson won all four games.
