Michigan will play in the NCAA quarterfinals for the first time in program history.

The Pioneers felt like they missed a chance to send a message in the Big East tournament. They made up for it Saturday, defeating Michigan 16-11.

The Midwest programs will square off in the second round on Sunday afternoon.
