Sheehan Stanwick Burch has been one of the most visible figures in women’s lacrosse since she graduated as a four-time All-American from Georgetown. She’s also a member of one of lacrosse’s most famous families — one of eight members of the Stanwick family that have played Division I lacrosse.

After her playing career, Stanwick Burch became a reporter, working for outlets like ESPN, CBS Sports Network and Big Ten Network. Stanwick Burch’s voice has been heard on just about every important women’s lacrosse game over the past decade and a half, including numerous NCAA championships.

Now women’s lacrosse fans will get to hear more from the top analyst in the sport. US Lacrosse Magazine is launching “The Stick Drop,” a podcast hosted by Stanwick Burch, starting on April 1.

“The Stick Drop” is a short-form podcast that features Stanwick Burch’s analysis on the weekend of lacrosse and interviews with some of the biggest names in the sport.

“US Lacrosse Magazine has always given fans unbelievable insights and access to players and coaches in lacrosse,” Stanwick Burch said. “I have been involved in women's lacrosse since I was a little girl and can’t believe I still get to give back to a sport that has given so much to me.  Over the years, I’ve been privileged to witness the energy and passion in the women's game, and with this podcast, I’m looking forward to digging deeper to reveal the people and stories that have made and continue to make this sport so vibrant.”
