The USA Lacrosse Players of the Week recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school girls’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.

NORTHEAST

Madison Taylor, Wantagh (N.Y.)

The junior midfielder has been the pulse of Wantagh’s impressive run through Nassau County powerhouses and is a big reason why the Warriors are in the national poll. With her combination of speed, size and will, the Northwestern commit has 26 goals and 11 assists in six games. That includes seven goals in a win against Garden City, three goals and two assists against Manhasset and four goals and three assists in a victory over North Shore.

MID-ATLANTIC

Becca Frank, Park School (Md.)

Frank scored the game-winning goal with 2.1 seconds left in overtime to give Park School a 10-9 win over previously unbeaten Mercer in the IAAM B-Conference championship on Friday. Frank’s game-winner came on a free position shot. The American University-bound senior led the Bruins with four goals and won 18 of 23 draw controls. It’s the first conference crown since 2013 for Park, which avenged its only two regular-season losses.

SOUTH

Maddie Dora, Milton (Ga.)

Dora helped Milton to a state title and the top spot in the South for 2021. The USC recruit had 20 goals and 12 assists during Milton’s four-game playoff run, including a goal and four assists while being double teamed in the state championship against North Forsyth (Ga.). She had five goals and three assists in the state semifinal against Walton (Ga.).

MIDWEST

Haley Reeck, Edina (Minn.)

In a battle of undefeated Land of 10,000 Lakes teams, Reeck came up clutch with six goals, four forced turnovers, three ground balls and two draw controls against Minnetonka (Minn.). Reeck also had a hat trick in a win over Minneapolis (Minn.) and was coming off another great week in which she had six goals, five draw controls and three forced turnovers as Edina doubled up on Eden Prairie (Minn.) and four goals and eight draw controls against Rosemount (Minn.).

WEST

Ella Brislin, Scripps Ranch (Calif.)

The senior had a big week, leading Scripps Ranch to a trio of wins while totaling 21 points. She had four goals and two assists in a key 10-4 win over ranked La Jolla (Calif.), five goals and one assist in a 14-5 victory over Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) and seven goals and two assists in a 16-7 defeat of La Costa Canyon (Calif.). Brislin is committed to UC-Davis.
