The USA Lacrosse Players of the Week recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school girls’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.

NORTHEAST

Jake Rogers, Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.)

The senior attackman set the tone for Cold Spring Harbor in the Seahawks’ signature win of the season. Rogers had four goals and three assists in the 9-7 win at Garden City (N.Y.), including three goals and three assists in the first half to help the undefeated Seahawks race out to a 6-1 lead.

“We came in with energy, we knew the matchups all along, we knew that everybody thought they were the better team coming into it, but we didn’t let that get to our heads,” Rogers said on the Varsity Media broadcast after the game. “We started off strong and kept the energy throughout.”
