Featured sessions for men’s and women’s coaches anchored by prominent NCAA coaches will highlight the Friday schedule, which will include a sports medicine symposium and coach development clinics. Saturday morning features the LaxCon keynote speaker. National champion coaches Andy Shay of Yale men’s lacrosse and Kathy Taylor of Le Moyne women’s lacrosse have been confirmed as speakers, and US Lacrosse expects to announce more in the coming days and weeks.
The US Lacrosse Convention will take place in the Pennsylvania Convention Center and is comprised of more than 100 educational sessions, many of which occur on indoor demonstration fields surrounded by seating for attendees. The convention’s expo hall will feature roughly 150 exhibitors, showcasing the latest lacrosse equipment, apparel, services and more.
The US Lacrosse Fan Fest will open the expo hall and demonstration areas to the public 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. Numerous US Lacrosse committees and other lacrosse organizations will host business meetings throughout the weekend.
US Lacrosse has secured discounted rooms for convention attendees and participants at the adjacent Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, host hotel of LaxCon, for reservations made before Dec. 17. Market pricing takes effect thereafter.
