During a 12-year tenure at Duke, Danowski has led the Blue Devils to three NCAA championships and nine appearances in the national semifinals — most recently in 2018. He has won nearly 400 games and mentored dozens of All-American and national award-winning players during his 36-season career as a collegiate head coach.
“Coach Danowski has been a consistently popular speaker at LaxCon, and we’re grateful he’s returning to share his experiences and tips as Team USA’s head coach,” Lance Basler, general manager of the US Lacrosse national teams program, said.
The specific date and time of Danowski’s session will be announced as the convention draws near.
LaxCon represents lacrosse’s largest educational event and trade show, drawing upwards of 7,000 each year to learn the game, network with others in the community, and then develop the sport locally upon returning home. Special hotel rates are available for all attendees who book accommodations before Dec. 17. Members of US Lacrosse save $40 or more on LaxCon registration.
