US Lacrosse Magazine announced Wednesday its 2021 Division III Women’s Preseason All-Americans, part of the magazine’s immersive coverage leading to the upcoming spring season.

Thirteen student-athletes from 11 schools make up the preseason list, headlined by a three players from Middlebury.

Attack

Kyra Bednarski had 17 goals and eight assists for a team-high 25 points, leading Stevens to a 3-2 start.

After a breakout freshman season, Jane Earley scored 12 goals with five assists over three games in 2020 for Middlebury.

Hannah Marafioti netted 18 goals with eight assists over just five Geneseo games.

In a 4-1 start for Gettysburg, Kerry McKeever scored a team-high 13 goals with four assists.

Midfield

Eliza Denious did it all for Bowdoin in 2020, tallying 10 goal, one assist, seven ground balls three caused turnovers and nine draw controls.

Marissa McGarrey is a leader for Franklin & Marshall, recording 10 goals, six assists and 16 draw controls last year.

Erin Nicholas is a force on the draw for Middlebury, with 115 draw controls through 48 career games.

Maia Noyes tallied nine goals, six assist and 18 draw controls for Amherst.

Defense

Catherine Arrix was tied for fourth on Washington & Lee with eight ground balls and was third in caused turnovers with eight.

Charlotte Godfrey recorded 21 draw controls, 19 ground balls, and nine caused turnovers in five games for Denison.

Addy Mitchell had eight ground balls and six caused turnovers for Middlebury.

In five games, Mekayla Montgomery recorded 15 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and 19 draw controls.

Goalie

Molly Laliberty saved 61.1 percent of shots and allowed just 5.60 goals per game for Tufts.
