SPARKS, Md. — US Lacrosse Magazine today named its All-Tournament Team for the 14U Division at the US Lacrosse Nationals, fueled by Chipotle.

The 10th annual tournament for bragging rights among US Lacrosse’s 300,000 youth members wrapped up yesterday at sparkling DE Turf Sports Complex in Frederica, Del., after girls’ club programs in three age divisions battled each other for three days.

Yellow Jackets 2022 Team Russell (N.Y.) won the 14U championship by outlasting a game Cardinal 2022 Red (Va.) team, 11-9, at Visit Delaware Stadium. The Yellow Jackets finished 6-0 at the event, and the victory gave the Yellow Jackets their seventh gold medal in the oldest age group at the US Lacrosse Nationals.

The Yellow Jackets are well-represented on the all-tournament team, joining players from runner-up Cardinal and semifinalists Ultimate 2022 Blue (N.J.) and Coppermine 2022 (Md.).

Younger division playoff results included Igloo 2023 (N.Y.) holding off Yellow Jackets 2023 Team Thorn (N.Y.), 8-7, and Yellow Jackets 2024 Team Wiener (N.Y.) rallying past the Lady Blue Crabs (Md./Del.) by an identical score.

Many of the games over the weekend proved competitive into the final moments, culminating in the three gold-medal games being decided by a total of four goals.
