Tre Leclaire scored five goals, including the go-ahead man-up tally with 1:28 remaining, to lift No. 17 Ohio State to a 13-11 win over No. 13 Notre Dame in Columbus on Tuesday.

The Buckeyes, who were a perfect 6-for-6 on extra-man opportunities, trailed by one with less than two minutes left. Jackson Reid tied it at the 1:52 mark, Leclaire scored 24 seconds later and then Leclaire iced the win with yet another man-up goal with 14 seconds left.

Ohio State (5-2) won its second straight game and defeated the Fighting Irish for the second consecutive year.

Notre Dame (2-3) has lost three straight games for the first time since the 2004 season. All three opponents — Maryland, Denver and Ohio State — are nationally ranked.

Ohio State’s attack unit of Leclaire, Jack Myers and Jackson Reid were a big reason why the Buckeyes came into the game averaging 14 goals per game. Leclaire (five goals, one assist) and Reid (three goals, four assists) were at it again Tuesday. Myers’ lone point, an assist, came on Reid’s game-tying goal.

• Fourth-ranked North Carolina survived a scare from Bryant, riding a school-record 25 faceoff wins by Zach Tucci (25-for-38) to an 18-16 victory in Chapel Hill. Chris Gray had four goals and four assists for the Tar Heels (7-0), who trailed at halftime but erupted for eight third-quarter goals. Bryant’s Marc O’Rourke scored seven goals, including back-to-back tallies that pulled the Bulldogs (3-4) within one late in the fourth quarter.

• Coming off of its first-ever Division I win, LIU Post had No. 16 UMass on the ropes in the fourth quarter before the Minutemen (5-2) ended on a six-goal run to prevail 14-10. Jeff Trainor scored four goals and Zack Hochman won 17 of 28 faceoffs for UMass, which won its fourth straight game.

• JP Basile scored three goals and doled out five assists to lead No. 8 Duke to an 18-8 win over visiting Jacksonville. Garrett Leadmon added four goals for the Blue Devils (6-2), also winners of four straight.

• No. 6 Penn State scored four goals in the first five minutes and raced to a 22-7 win at Furman. TJ Malone led the onslaught  with five goals, while Joe White contributed four goals and two assists.

• Johns Hopkins, staring down the barrel of a fifth straight loss and its first-ever defeat to Mount St. Mary’s, rallied from four-goal deficit late in the fourth quarter and defeated the Mountaineers 13-12 on Owen Murphy’s game-winner in overtime at Homewood Field. The Blue Jays (2-4) trailed 12-8 with less than five minutes remaining. Cole Williams sparked the comeback with three fourth-quarter goals, including  the game-tying tally with 57  seconds left.

• Dylan Beckwith continued his scorching start to the season with five goals and three assists in Fairfield’s 21-12 win at Siena. Beckwith (25 goals, 17 assists) is averaging six points per game for the Stags (5-2).

• Ryan Tierney had four goals and three assists and Whit Stopak added four goals, as a 13-goal first half propelled Hofstra to a 19-9 win at St. John’s.
