Durkin played in 12 Premier Lacrosse League games last season, scooping 23 ground balls and causing five turnovers. He said he hopes to be able to head to Utah for the PLL Championship Series if he is cleared in late July.

Kendall Baker of Axios reports that four players tested positive.

All players were required to self-quarantine and pass a COVID-19 test before heading to Herriman, Utah, for the PLL Championship Series, a fanless tournament in lieu of a typical season.

There are several rounds of COVID testing that will occur on site and prior to departure. There are also special measures being taken on site — including the requirement of face masks, limiting staffing, etc. — to ensure safety.

The below video from the PLL details the extensive measures being taken.

Evan Connell of Archers LC also revealed on Instragram that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Unlike Durkin, who said he hopes to head to Utah later this month, Connell said he will not play this summer.
