Tom Schreiber is one of the best players in the world, but he's still looking to improve. Schreiber, the quiet Long Island native, has emerged as a star in both the PLL and the NLL, in addition to scoring the game-winning goal to help the U.S. national team win gold in 2018.
His vision on the lacrosse field (or floor) is unparalleled, making his just as effective as a passer as he is a finisher. He attributes some of those skills to the football field.
“The work is ongoing on how you can continue to be dangerous on being a feeder," Schreiber said. "I was an option quarterback, so I got really used to reading defenses and reading body language and being able to react quickly. It was just quick decisions and reading body language."

He's 28, but he already has a resume better than most to ever play the game. He followed his father, Doug, who was a Hall of Famer and helped motivate Tom to become who he is today.
Schreiber, currently training on his own during the COVID-19 crisis, spoke with Paul Carcaterra about his Princeton days, his transition to box and how long he plans to stay in the game.
