Natalie Karlen was unstoppable Thursday evening.

The senior attacker from Hagerstown, Maryland, put on a show for Central Michigan, finishing with program records in goals (10) and points (13) in a 21-14 win over Kent State. The Chippewas are now 5-5 and 3-1 in Mid-American Conference play.

Karlen also eclipsed 200 career points, finishing the game with 207. She’s the first in program history to hit that mark.

The records don’t stop. Her shot attempts (14) and shots on goal (12) were also all-time program marks. Karlen’s 10 goals are tied for the third-most in NCAA history and the most in a game since 2004.

In a game that finished with more of a football score than a lacrosse score, the Chippewas outshot the Golden Flashes 36-26.

Florida Cruises against ECU

The No. 11 Gators built a seven-goal lead by halftime and added onto the lead from there, as Brianna Harris’ five goals and two assists paced the attack in Florida’s 20-9 win over East Carolina.

Shannon Kavanagh and Danielle Pavinelli each recorded a hat trick, while Paisley Eagan, Grace Haus and Ashley Gonzalez all scored twice. Florida won 23 of 31 draws.

Florida (8-2, 5-0 AAC) has bounced back nicely from its March 13 loss to Jacksonville, winning five straight against conference foes. The Gators dispatched a competitive Temple team twice before rolling through Cincinnati twice.

Florida plays East Carolina against on Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern.
