A dozen games from the USA Lacrosse Fall Classic and the Brogden Cup will be streamed live on USALacrosse.com this weekend. Glenn Clark, Tari Kandemiri and Monika Moore will bring the action live from Tierney Field on the USA Lacrosse campus in Sparks, Md.

The Fall Classic features the U.S. men’s and women’s national teams, the University of Maryland men’s team and the University of North Carolina women’s teams along with the USA Select U16 and U18 men’s and women’s teams competing against international competition from the Haudenosaunee Nation and Ontario in the Brogden Cup.

Streaming coverage begins on Friday evening at 7 p.m. (Eastern) with the USA Men’s Showcase, a split-squad game between the 52 players from the U.S. men’s team that are competing for one of the coveted 23 spots on the final roster that will represent the United States during the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego. The U.S. is the defending world champion, having beaten Canada 9-8 in the 2018 world championship in Israel, and seven players from that roster are on the current U.S. training team.

The Fall Classic is one of the final two evaluation events for head coach John Danowski and the U.S. men’s staff to evaluate players before making his ultimate roster decisions.

Coverage resumes on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. with the first of two games between the U.S. men’s team and the reigning NCAA champion Maryland. The U.S. will split its roster for the two games against the Terps, with the second game being played at 2:30 p.m.

In between those two games, the U.S. women’s team will hit the field for the first time since winning the World Lacrosse Women’s Championship this past July in Towson, Md. Nine gold medalists from that squad are set to begin a new era for the U.S. women’s team as they play reigning NCAA champion North Carolina at noon. It will be a big weekend, capping a big year, for head coach Jenny Levy. Levy led the Tar Heels to the NCAA championship in May, the U.S. team to the world championship in July and will be inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame on Saturday night.

Streaming coverage wraps up on Sunday with eight games from the Brogden Cup beginning with men’s U16 and U18 action at 8 a.m. and women’s games beginning at 11:20 a.m. These shortened 30-minute games wrap up three days of action in the Brogden Cup with each of the teams playing a total of four games this weekend. The 88 players representing the USA Select teams earned their spots from more than 1,000 players that participated in a regional tryout process and national combine.
