No. 1 Stony Brook has another national record breaker.

In the Seawolves’ 22-7 win over UMBC, senior attacker Kylie Ohlmiller tallied eight points on two goals and six assists, shattering the NCAA Division I career points and assists records, previously held by greats Jen Adams of Maryland and Hannah Nielsen of Northwestern, respectively.

For her performance, Ohlmiller earns Brine/US Lacrosse Player of the Week honors.

Ohlmiller broke Adams’ 17-year-old points record (445) in the first half on a behind-the-back goal. The senior Tewaaraton nominee now has 452 points for her career. 

She then passed Nielsen’s assist mark (224) in the second half, tallying 226 for her career. Ohlmiller's 2018 stats now total 62 goals, 49 assists and 111 points.

Ohlmiller got her first point and assist at the 8:21 mark in the first half to Courtney Murphy to take the Seawolves up three before scoring her #SCTop10-worthy goal less than three minutes later to break the points record.

She finished the half with one more assist to Murphy and a man-up goal with 36 seconds left on the clock.

In the second half against the Retrievers, she then added four helpers.
