ATLANTA — For the third straight week, St. Thomas remains atop the charts of the New Balance MCLA Division II Weekly Coaches Poll.

The Tommies (4-2) added a couple of first-place votes from last week to push their tally to 11 and keep them 25 points clear of No. 2 Kennesaw State (4-0). The Owls grabbed eight of the 26 first-place votes this week.

Rhode Island (5-0) jumped into the third position after sitting at No. 5 last week, snagging a trio of top votes that leaves them just 13 total points behind Kennesaw.

Dayton (3-1) hung steady at No. 4 along with a first-place vote while Montana (5-2) edged up a spot to round out the top five.

No. 7 College of Idaho (4-0) grabbed two first-place votes while No. 10 Grand Valley State was awarded the last first vote.

MSU Denver and Cal State San Marcos were escorted out of the poll this week, replaced by No. 24 Coastal Carolina (4-0) and No. 25 Northwest Nazarene (4-0).
