ATLANTA — Bolstered by a plurality of first-place votes, St. Thomas remains the No. 1 team in the New Balance MCLA Division II Weekly Coaches Poll.

The Tommies (6-2) inhaled nine of the 26 total top votes, pushing them well clear of No. 2 College of Idaho (6-0), which took six first-place votes back to Caldwell, Idaho.

Kennesaw State (6-0) actually gobbled up eight top votes but couldn’t close the gap with the Yotes, as the Owls sit four points back in third.

No. 4 Rhode Island (5-0) received one first-place vote, and No. 5 Dayton (3-1) earned two to round out the top five.

There were no entries or exits from the poll this week.
