ATLANTA — South Carolina finishes the 2022 season in the exact spot it finished in 2019: atop the final New Balance MCLA Division I Coaches Poll.

After repeating as national champions, the Gamecocks (17-3) grabbed all 23 first-place votes to sit at No. 1 by a comfortable margin.

Georgia Tech (16-4), which lost to South Carolina 11-9 in the title game of the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, was slotted second.

Brigham Young (17-3), which advanced to the semifinals before getting bounced by the Gamecocks, finishes in third, followed by Virginia Tech (15-2) and Clemson (15-5), respectively.
