We're near the midpoint of the regular season and there's still seven undefeated squads in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20, highlighted by the top three of Adelphi, Lindenwood and Le Moyne, which are a combined 23-0 entering the week. Lindenwood had the busiest week among the top contenders with five wins. Meanwhile, defending champion Florida Southern, ranked fourth, has rebounded from its two early-season losses with nine straight wins, and plays in one of the marquee games this week with a Sunshine State Conference showdown against No. 11 Florida Tech, which has won eight straight.

HOT

Mercy (+3)

The Mavericks continue to take care of business and enjoyed three dominating road wins this week. Picked to finish third in the ECC's preseason coaches poll, Mercy is the league's only remaining unbeaten squad. The Mavs allowed only five combined goals in their three lopsided wins over Southern Connecticut, Holy Family and Queen's (N.Y.) this past week.

New Haven (+3)

The Chargers squeezed out a narrow 11-10 win over Merrimack to keep their record unblemished, with Jessica Mazliah and Kendall Cietek each finishing with a game-high six points to lead New Haven. The next seven games are all against NE-10 foes, starting with a visit to Stonehill on Wednesday.

NOT

West Chester (-8)

The Golden Rams fell from the ranks of the undefeated with a 14-13 home loss against Mercyhurst. WCU fell behind 10-4 at halftime and couldn't quite dig its way back despite pulling to within one goal twice in the second half. A home game with No. 2 Lindenwood looms this week.

NEW

Slippery Rock

The Rock extended its best-ever season start by pushing its record to 6-0 with a 12-10 win over PSAC rival East Stroudsburg on Sunday. Tia Torchia scored the game-winner for SRU with 1:14 to play and finsihed as one of three players with three goals in the game. Two road games await this week, including a visit to No. 10 Bloomsburg.

Bridgeport

With five straight wins, the Purple Knights have moved into the Top 20 for the first time this season. Although they have yet to beat a team with a winning record, they will get a true test this week with a match-up against No. 9 NYIT.

OUT

Lock Haven

The Eagles have dropped two of their past three and fall out of the poll after climbing to No. 14. Both losses have been by one goal. A busy week with three games, including a neutral site match-up with No. 2 Lindenwood, could help move LHU back into the Top 20 picture.

Kutztown

After starting the season with four non-conference victories, the Golden Bears suffered back-to-back losses against Shippensburg and Lock Haven in their first two PSAC contests. Kutztown faces No. 15 West Chester and No. 14 Mercyhurst as it continuew conference action this week.
