For the first time this season, there were no changes in the Nike / US Lacrosse Division II Women’s Top 20, with all the teams holding their positions from last week. As they have done virtually all year, Lindenwood, UIndy, Le Moyne, and West Chester continue to occupy the top four slots. They are four of the seven remaining undefeated squads in the Top 20, along with No. 13 Seton Hill, No. 15 Roberts Wesleyan, and No. 16 St. Anselm.

The week ahead features some of the best matchups of the season, including Thursday’s highly anticipated clash between No. 1 Lindenwood and No. 2 Indianapolis. The winner will claim the top seed for the inaugural Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championship Tournament (April 30-May 2) and will undoubtably enter the tournament as the nation’s top-ranked team.

Also on Thursday, No. 15 Roberts Wesleyan faces its toughest test of the year, as it puts its undefeated record on the line against No. 11 Grand Valley State in a non-league encounter.

In the South, No. 5 Queens and No. 6 Limestone are on a likely collision course in this week’s South Atlantic League Championship Tournament. They enter the event as the top two seeds having earned byes into the semifinal round. Also, No. 18 Mt. Olive will try to claim its first Conference Carolinas title as the top seed for this week’s conference tournament.

HOT

Seton Hill (no change)

While they didn’t move up, the Griffins added two more PSAC victories last week, defeating Slippery Rock and Mercyhurst to clinch their first-ever PSAC Western Division title. Seton Hill continues its run toward a possible undefeated regular season with three games this week, starting Tuesday at Lock Haven.

Roberts Wesleyan (no change)

The Redhawks improved to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the East Coast Conference with last Saturday’s win over Molloy, closing the game on a 6-1 run to extend their winning streak. In a season full of new accomplishments, RWC has a chance for two more highlights this week: a first-ever win against Grand Valley State and tying their single-season record for victories (11).

NOT

Florida Southern (no change)

The Mocs rebounded from their first loss of the season with a dominating 18-2 win over Lynn last week, but lost the chance to capitalize on that momentum with the postponement of Saturday’s game against Florida Tech due to COVID-19 protocols. FSC has also postponed this week’s game against No. 8 Tampa, meaning the Mocs may potentially be sidelined until April 28.
