Women’s Lacrosse League fans are in for a treat.

Charlotte North’s Boston Guard and Izzy Scane’s New York Charging will play for the inaugural WLL Championship Series title on Monday at 11 a.m. Eastern on ESPN2. North and Scane have combined to win the last four Tewaaraton Awards.

In their lone meeting of the Championship Series, Boston beat New York 20-18.

That win wrapped up the No. 1 seed for the Guard, who had a bye during Sunday morning’s semifinal between New York and the California Palms. It was all Charging, as Emily Hawryschuk scored seven goals on seven shots and Madison Doucette made a show-stopping 21 saves in an 18-11 win.

As good as Doucette was on Sunday, all eyes will be on the offenses on Monday. Neither New York nor Boston has scored fewer than 14 goals in the Championship Series.
