2024 PLL Schedule Revealed; Stops in Fairfield, Minneapolis, Louisville Included
The Premier Lacrosse League released its 2024 regular season schedule on New Year’s Day, a historic schedule given the league’s new home cities that will each host a homecoming weekend over the summer.
The league’s sixth season will be its first with teams tied to home markets. The season will still be 14 weeks, with eight of the league’s 10 regular season game weekends to be held in teams’ home markets. Minneapolis and Fairfield, Conn., will host two out-of-market weekends with all eight PLL teams, and All-Star Weekend will return to Louisville for the second straight season.
Beginning this summer, the PLL will adopt a two-conference structure. The New York Atlas, Boston Cannons, Philadelphia Waterdogs and Maryland Whipsnakes will make up the Eastern Conference. The Utah Archers, Carolina Chaos, Denver Outlaws and California Redwoods will make up the Western Conference. As such, the PLL All-Star Game will feature a conference-based matchup for the first time.
A new conference playoff structure will be announced soon.
