Curious fans flooded social media Wednesday morning with GIFs and memes encouraging the Premier Lacrosse League to drop the bold purple jerseys of the PLL's first expansion team, Waterdogs LC.

The PLL obliged.

The Waterdogs will have light and dark purple uniform variants, each with a water-like feature toward the bottom of the jersey. The team motto — "Every game is a revenge game" — is featured in the inner lining of the neck.

As the newest club in the league, the Waterdogs had to build significantly through the expansion draft and supplemental draft while also adding through the collegiate draft. Zach Currier, taken first in the expansion draft, figures to be one of the biggest stars on the Waterdogs.

Waterdogs LC will first take the field in their uniforms on July 26 at 4 p.m. against Atlas LC in the PLL Championship Series at Zions Bank Stadium in Utah.
