LOS ANGELES, CA. (January 14, 2020) - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today that the league will return to Atlanta for the upcoming 2020 season this summer. Kennesaw State University’s Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Cobb County, Georgia will host three regular season PLL matchups on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7.

“Returning to Atlanta for our second season made sense on a number of levels,” says PLL Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Paul Rabil. “We had a fantastic turnout in our inaugural season as fans packed the stadium to see local stars like Myles Jones and Scott Ratliff. Additionally, we’re seeing a surge in lacrosse participation throughout the region, building strong partnerships with local brands and youth orgs, and are excited to play at Fifth Third Bank Stadium -- a state-of-the-art venue that will create a vibrant atmosphere for our players and fans.”

Atlanta now becomes the second host city to be announced by the league ahead of the 2020 campaign after Boston/Gillette Stadium (Opening Weekend). Remaining 2020 locations will be unveiled over the next several months. PLL games will be broadcast throughout the summer on NBC, NBCSN, and NBC Sports Gold - the network’s direct-to-consumer streaming platform.

“We are thrilled to have professional lacrosse back in our stadium,” said Zach Kerns, General Manager of KSU’s Fifth Third Bank Stadium. “This will be another opportunity for Kennesaw State to welcome visitors across the region to our stadium.”
