On Wednesday, we learned about the Premier Lacrosse League Championship Series, an ambitious tournament-style championship that will deliver fans 20 televised games in 16 days. The PLL made more news Thursday, announcing that its College Draft will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. EDT on NBC Sports Network.

The two-round draft will allow each of the seven teams the opportunity to draft graduating college seniors. The PLL said that if a player returns to the NCAA level, he will be re-entered into the 2021 draft pool.

Archers LC will have the No. 1 overall pick for the second year in a row. Archers finished the regular season 5-5 with five one-goal losses and earned the top pick after defeating Atlas LC in the First Draft Pick Game, 25-7. The club selected Pat Spencer with the first pick in 2019 and retained his rights as he pursued basketball at Northwestern.

Waterdogs LC, the league’s new expansion club, will select third and eighth.

There will be 14 picks in this draft, compared to 24 last season. The full draft order is below.
