The Premier Lacrosse League will hold its upcoming Championship Series at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah, according to a Sportico exclusive confirmed by US Lacrosse Magazine.

After considering a multitude of sites across the country, the PLL ultimately settled on a location out west. The stadium is roughly 30 miles from the University of Utah, where Will Manny, Marcus Holman and Adam Ghitelman of Archers LC serve as assistants.

Zions Bank Stadium is described as a soccer-specific stadium that can seat 5,000, though this tournament will be held without fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The stadium is home to the Real Monarchs of the United Soccer League and the Utah Warriors of Major League Rugby.

The tournament, which will run from July 25 through August 9, will see each of the seven clubs participate in four group games to determine seeding for a single-elimination tournament that will crown the champion. Players are required to quarantine two weeks prior to leaving for Utah, and they will be tested upon arriving. Continued testing will occur through the three-week period with medical professionals on site.

The PLL estimates that fewer than 300 people will be on hand.
