Rutgers opened its 2022 season with a convincing 16-8 victory at Delaware. The Scarlet Knights, coming off of a breakthrough season, opened up a 15-3 lead after three quarters. Taralyn Naslonski led Rutgers with four goals while Marin Hartshorn and Cassidy Spilis each scored three times. Riley Gillin (2g, 2a) had a team-high four points for Delaware.
