No. 3 Middlebury remained unbeaten by handing No. 8 The College of New Jersey a 13-9 defeat on Thursday in the Garden State. Trailing 3-2 after the opening quarter, Middlebury scored five straight goals to open the second quarter and never trailed again. TCNJ cut the Panther lead to 10-8 early in the fourth quarter, but Grace Getman scored two of Middlebury's next three goals to put the game away. Getman, Jane Earley and Hope Shue all scored three goals for Middlebury (6-0). Jennifer LaRocca led TCNJ with three goals and two assists.
