Maryland jumped out to a 7-1 lead after one quarter and then pulled away in the second half after Florida had closed to within two goals late in the first half, besting the Gators 18-8 on Saturday in College Park. Making her home debut for the Terrapins, grad transfer Aurora Cordingley had a 10-point game on four goals and six assists while Hannah Leubecker also scored four times. Danielle Pavinelli led Florida with four goals.
