A five-goal first quarter helped propel Georgetown to a 10-8 victory over Penn on Saturday at historic Franklin Field in a matchup of two Top 10 programs. Graham Bundy scored both of his goals in the opening frame and also added two assists in the game for the Hoyas. Connor Morin and Dylan Watson also scored twice for Georgetown while James Reilly won 14 of 22 faceoffs and Owen McElory made 11 saves. Back-to-back fourth quarter goals by Penn's Dylan Gergar, part of his four in the game, pulled the Quakers to within a goal, but Morin's second goal of the game with 1:58 remaining iced the Georgetown victory.
