Notre Dame scored a season-high 17 goals, routing Virginia 17-7 to win the Atlantic Coast Conference championship. It was the second ACC title for the Irish and third title game appearance in the last five seasons. Ryder Garnsey, Bryan Costabile and Brian Willetts each had hat tricks for Notre Dame, and the Irish defense forced Virginia into 25 turnovers in the contest.
