Mount St. Mary's used a six-goal run to open the second quarter to open up a 7-3 lead on Delaware, and led the Blue Hens 9-7 early in the third quarter, before Delaware stormed back to win 16-12 in Ben DeLuca's debut as head coach of the Blue Hens. Will Hirschmann had four goals and three assists to lead Delaware and Peter St. Geme had a hat trick. Stephano Mastro, Brenden McCarthy and Luke Frankeny each had two goals for the Mount.
