Richmond ended Massachusetts' amazing run of nine-straight Atlantic-10 championships, beating the Minutewomen 12-11 on Kim Egizi's goal 35 seconds into the first overtime period. Egizi, the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year, had four goals in the final and eight in the tournament to earn MVP honors and send Richmond to its first A-10 championship since 2007.
