Delaware took control of first place in the CAA with a 13-7 victory over Hofstra. The Blue Hens are off to a 10-2 start for the first time since their NCAA quarterfinal season in 1999. Charlie Kitchen had four goals and five assists, Tye Kurtz scored four goals and Matt DeLuca made 18 saves for Delaware, which is 3-0 in the league.
