York, ranked No. 4 in the Nike/US Lacrosse NCAA Division III women's lacrosse rankings, downed Franklin & Marshall 9-4 on Wednesday, the first win for the Spartans over the Diplomats in school history. Charlotte Wright made 10 saves to help fuel York's strong defensive effort while Regan Cook, Devin Hursey and Caitlin Rankin all scored two goals as the Spartans improved to 2-0.
