Delaware, and new coach Amy Altig, welcomed Army West Point, Cincinnati, Fairfield, Lafayette, Liberty and Niagara to its campus on Sunday for a seven-team fall ball event.

There were several U.S. Women's National Teams connections with the coaching staffs at the event. Altig is an assistant coach for the current U.S. staff. Army West Point head coach Kristen Skiera and assistant coach Shannon Gilroy both won gold medals as U.S. U19 team members (2003 and 2011, respectively). Cincinnati head coach Gina Thomas (Oliver) won gold medals with the U.S. senior women's team in 2009 and 2013 and Niagara head coach Wendy Stone was the manager for the gold medal winning U.S. women's senior teams in 2009, 2013 and 2017.
