The Ivy League took its men's lacrosse championship to New York City at Columbia University, and was ready for the big stage, upsetting No. 1 ranked Yale 14-8 to win the title. Christian Knight made 16 saves to help shut down Yale's potent attack and Jeff Teat had a goal and five assists for the Big Red, giving him 96 points for the season.
