Top-seeded Maryland ended Boston College's Cinderella run, scoring 11 goals in the second half en route to a 16-13 victory in the NCAA Division I women's lacrosse championship game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The Terps finished undefeated and won their third NCAA title in four years. Caroline Steele scored six goals, overshadowed only by Eagles star Kenzie Kent, who had 10 points and earned championship Most Outstanding Player honors in the loss. Photos by John Strohsacker.
