Despite playing in an attack-based offense, UIndy midfielder Peyton Romig finished last season with 29 goals and a new career-high 25 assists. She also continued her domination in the center circle, leading Division II with 200 draw controls. 

For her efforts, Romig is the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II Women’s Preseason Player of the Year.

“Peyton is an incredible talent and our most impactful player,” UIndy coach James Delaney said. “Her ability to control the game all over the field is massive. She’s just such a huge piece of what we do on the field.”
