Both of No. 2 Notre Dame’s scheduled contests this weekend have been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests within the program, the university announced Thursday.

The Irish were scheduled to play Central Michigan on Feb. 19 and Marquette on Feb. 21.

“The postponements follow positive tests, subsequent quarantining and contact tracing within the team,” the announcement said. “The program is adhering to the outlined protocols within the ACC Medical Advisory Group report.”

Notre Dame opened its season on Saturday with a 19-5 win over Vanderbilt at Loftus Sports Center.
