Jordan Butler scored six goals to lead Mount St. Mary’s to a 12-10 win over Bryant in a Northeast Conference women’s lacrosse semifinal Wednesday, as the top-seeded Mountaineers roll into Saturday’s championship game against Wagner on a 13-game winning streak. The Seahawks advanced with a 16-8 victory over LIU.

Mount St. Mary’s (13-2) and Bryant were tied at 8 midway through the second half. But Kate Kinsella scored two of her three goals during a 4-1 run that gave the Mount the lead for good. Mount St. Mary’s is looking to capture its first conference crown since winning back-to-back NEC titles and NCAA tournament bids in 2004-05.

Wagner (10-4), the two-time defending NEC champion, is playing in the conference championship game for the seventh straight year. Kasey Dorney scored five goals and added seven draw controls in the win over LIU.
