The Raiders beat Ransom Everglades (Fla.) 21-7 in the second round of the Florida state play-in games and pulled off a huge, season-changing upset in the next round. They rallied from a three-goal second-half deficit to upend unbeaten American Heritage-Delray 10-9 in overtime to win the regional and advance to the state semifinals. Jada Preston scored on an eight-meter shot for the win, which avenged a 13-goal loss earlier this season and catapulted the Raiders up in the rankings. Previous: 7
3. Milton (Ga.), 13-4
The Eagles had another big week, going 3-1 overall and 2-1 against out-of-state teams. After beating West Forsyth (Ga.) 19-1, the Eagles upended Sacred Heart (N.Y.), 11-8, and handled South-ranked Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.), 18-9, before losing to national No. 22 Bishop Ireton (Va.) 9-8 in a triple overtime thriller. The last two games were both on Saturday. Bridget Deehan had 35 saves in the four games, including 12 against Bishop Ireton. The Eagles finish the regular season Friday against Cambridge (Ga.). 4. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), 19-1
The Stallions’ season ended abruptly with a 10-9 overtime loss to St. Thomas in the third-round of the state play-in games, which was essentially the regional championship game. American Heritage had beaten Pinecrest (Fla.) 17-5 in the second round. Freshman Caitlyn Wurzburger had two goals and an assist to finish the season with 101 goals and 117 assists. Previous: 4
5. Barron Collier (Fla.), 20-1
The upstart Cougars did what has been impossible in Florida since lacrosse became a sanctioned sport in 2008, stopping Vero Beach from reaching the state final four. The Cougars rallied after falling behind 5-0 to beat the Fighting Indians 9-7 in Vero Beach, a cataclysmic win that shook the lacrosse world in Florida. The Cougars had lost to Vero six consecutive years in the playoffs. Jaclyn Berry scored four goals for the Cougars, who slowed the game down to keep Vero’s offense in check. Previous: NR
6. Vero Beach (Fla.), 18-3
The Indians rolled on to a 13-6 win over Benjamin (Fla.) in the second round of the state playoffs, but fell hard to Barron Collier in the third round to end a streak of final four appearances that date back more than a decade. The Indians won 10 consecutive state titles, including eight FHSAA finals, before losing in last year’s championship game. The Bulldogs rebounded from their first loss of the season with a thrilling 8-7 win over Cambridge (Ga.) and then beat Lanier (Ga.) 20-0. In the win over Cambridge, Haley Gorke had four goals and seven draw controls, and Samantha Gladstein collected six saves in goal and three groundballs. The Crusaders beat Chattahoochee 19-12 in the first of two games against Georgia teams last week, then lost to ranked Milton 19-8 to end a seven-game win streak. They wrap up the regular season Tuesday against Pinecrest (N.C.). Previous: 6
9. Lassiter (Ga.), 14-3
The Trojans only played once, but it was a big game and a big win over rival Walton (Ga.), which had beaten Lassiter three consecutive years in the state semifinals. The Trojans won 9-7 to claim the Area 4 title, as Emma Grace Wisdom led with five goals. Isabella D’Alba’s goal with seven minutes left put Lassiter up for good. Previous: 8

The Daisies join the rankings after knocking off McKinney Club (Texas) and Episcopal School Dallas (Texas) to win the North District championship. Emily Stallings had 10 goals in the 19-12 win over ESD, and Kate Love had 11 draw controls, two goals and two assists. Two of the Daisies’ three losses were to out-of-state teams. The Golden Bears have won nine in a row following convincing decisions against Pine-Richland (Pa.) and Chagrin Falls (Ohio) on Saturday and an 18-0 win over Hilliard-Davidson (Ohio) on Monday. Loyola polished off a grueling four-day trip to Colorado with a perfect 5-0 record last week, beating up on four of Colorado’s top teams and St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.). The Ramblers won by a combined 75-36 margin. Brennan Dwyer, a Northwestern signee, scored 22 goals, added 14 helpers and won 51 draws. They gave Colorado Academy a good game but couldn’t keep up with previously nationally-ranked Loyola (Ill.) in a 19-9 decision. Catriona Barry had 11 goals and 14 draw controls combined in the two losses. Gabby Noto netted the game-winner in a double-overtime victory over Cherry Creek and was one of four players with three goals in a 13-3 win over Regis, which marked her first game back from ACL surgery. The Grizzlies split a pair of games last week, opening with a 16-13 win over former No. 5 Mater Dei (Calif.) before suffering a 9-8 letdown against a solid Monte Vista-Danville (Calif.) squad. Four players had hat tricks in the Mater Dei win: Isabella McHugh (six goals), Marissa Leonardi (five goals), Ashley Ward (three goals, three assists) and Rachel Leonardi (four goals).
