Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
The National Lacrosse League announced it will unify the East and West divisions to have single-table standings in which teams are ranked regardless of geography.
The most impactful change to the NLL schedule in history.

The league also unveiled the 2023-24 schedule. Each team plays each other once with four additional “flex” games to capitalize on rivalries, storylines and star player matchups. Opening weekend is Dec. 1-2.
Kenny DeJohn’s follow-up from the PLL championship game in Chester, Pa., where several Archers newcomers proved pivotal in pushing the team over the hump for its first league title.
Another K.D. special — this one on Navy women’s lacrosse senior captain Katie Golbranson, who originally made the team as a walk-on.
How a chance encounter connected Wall Street executive Melissa Meager with the North Carolina women’s lacrosse program.
Five NLL matchups to look forward to this season.
First-year program Virginia State women’s lacrosse is hosting the first-ever HBCU Play Day on Oct. 8.

It wouldn’t be a Tom Schreiber championship game winner without some clock drama.
You be the judge: Schreiber's GWG came a lot closer than previously thought.

Shot clock doesn't start until five seconds in, but you can tell they accelerate it from :28-:23.
Assuming I got the right whistle start time, Schreiber's release point comes ~:31.97-32.02... pic.twitter.com/Mn9RIRQH0z
