Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Tom Schreiber is clutch.

The USA star kept the Archers on top of the Premier Lacrosse League with an overtime tally, giving the Archers a 14-13 victory over Atlas.

Elsewhere in the PLL over the weekend, the Cannons stayed hot, winning their fifth straight game. Colin Kirst made 16 saves and the Cannons scored six points in the fourth quarter for a 12-8 win over last year’s champs, the Waterdogs. The Whipsnakes won their second straight, blowing out Chrome 12-5 and Chaos rallied in the fourth for a 14-12 win over the Redwoods.

2. Apuzzo and Moreno ready for another showdown

Taylor Moreno and Sam Apuzzo went down to the wire for the individual title in last year’s Athletes Unlimited season, and they’re right there again. On Sunday, Moreno’s team rallied for a 9-6 win over Apuzzo’s team as Charlotte North scored five goals, including a two-pointer. Ally Kennedy had the finisher.

Heading into the season’s final weekend at USA Lacrosse headquarters, Moreno leads the league with 1,301 individual points and Apuzzo is close behind with 1,241.

3. A blockbuster in the NLL.

A three-team trade involving 10 players was announced by the National Lacrosse League on Friday, including Trevor Baptiste going from Philadelphia to San Diego.

4. Here come the girls.

Nearly 150 of the nation’s top high school girls’ lacrosse players will be at USA Lacrosse beginning today for a three-day national combine as part of the National Team Development Program.

5. Age is just a number.

An inspiring love of the game from 84-year-old Roger Barth, a former Princeton defenseman who continues to play the game on a regular basis.

6. What happens out West after football departures?

The recent, and not so recent, defections from the Pac-12 driven by TV money for football leave a number of women’s lacrosse programs in limbo. Oregon is now following USC to the Big Ten. Colorado and Arizona State are going to the Big 12, leaving those two programs without a women’s lacrosse home. The remaining Pac-12 programs for 2025 would be Cal, Stanford and affiliate members San Diego State and UC Davis.
