Michael Sowers, one of the most exciting rookies in the Premier Lacrosse League, was hospitalized and kept overnight after a hit to the head during Sunday’s PLL game between Sowers’ Waterdogs LC and Cannons LC.
Sowers’ father, David Sowers, commented on a video of the hit that a CT scan of his son revealed trauma to the head.
Michael was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. CT scan ruled it such trauma to the head the body acts like it is dehydrated. He was kept over night. Waiting...

Sowers scored on the play, but he was clearly shaken up. Reece Eddy was given a two-minute non-releasable penalty for the hit.
Sowers scored twice in his first professional game.
