ATLANTA — After rolling to its first national title at the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, Utah has been ranked No. 1 in the final New Balance MCLA Division II Coaches Poll.

The Utes (14-3) scooped up 21 of the 23 first-place votes cast to leave them comfortably in the big chair.

Rhode Island (12-3), which fell to Utah in the championship game 13-7, sits at No. 2 with one first-place vote. The Rams are just a lone point ahead of St. Thomas (15-4), with the Tommies checking in third.

Montana (16-6), which made its first appearance in the national semifinals since 2007, is slotted at No. 4, followed by Grand Valley State (10-4) at No. 5.
