The Knights beat Lakeside-Dekalb (Ga.) 27-2 in their return from spring break and finished the week with a 16-13 win over Westminster (Ga.). Colin Hall had five goals and three assists against Lakeside and four goals, one assist against Westminster. Nicky Solomon racked up six goals and seven assists in the Lakeside win. After playing 10 of their first 11 against teams out of the region, the Eagles travelled to Michigan and took care of business against two traditionally strong teams in the Midwest. They defeated Brother Rice 15-2 on Saturday and beat Detroit Country Day 18-1 on Sunday. Previous: 1

The Shamrocks rallied from a three-goal halftime deficit to defeat in-state rival Brother Rice (Mich.) 10-9 in overtime, marking their first win over Brother Rice in more than two decades. Kyle McCann had 16 saves in a 13-4 trouncing of Foothill on April 10, then collected 14 saves in a 9-7 victory over St. Margaret’s on Saturday, a game in which freshman Michael Nagy led the offense with three goals and two assists. The Tartans suffered their first loss of the season Saturday against Palos Verdes, following a win over Corona del Mar earlier in the week. They trailed PV 8-2 in the third quarter and rallied to within two but couldn’t close the gap any further. St. Margaret’s will try to bounce back against Foothill and Torrey Pines this week.
