Logan Wisnauskas made program history Saturday — and that means a little something more when that program resides in College Park.

The senior midfielder notched two goals and seven assists in an 18-10 win over Johns Hopkins, giving him five career games of eight-plus points — the most such games in Maryland history.

For his efforts, Wisnauskas is the US Lacrosse Division I Men’s Player of the Week.

His nine-point effort tied for the fifth-most in a single game in Maryland history, and his seven assists tied for second-most in a game.

“Things didn’t come easy for us in the first half, and we were just waiting for that third-quarter run,” he said after the game, referencing an 8-0 third quarter by the Terps. “It was like, ‘Come on, we need to get going.’ We kind of found that spark. Maybe it was Jared getting that eighth goal, which kind of set us off.”
