Le Moyne has passed every test it’s faced so far this season, holding the No. 1 ranking for another week after a comfortable 11-8 win over a dangerous Pace team. The eight goals were a season-high allowed by Le Moyne — another testament to the defense that has been lockdown for years.

It was another week where the top six held down their rankings, with Seton Hill getting past Mercyhurst and Saint Leo surviving a challenge from Rollins.

But a Limestone team that was rolling suffered the biggest upset of the week, falling to Queens (N.C.) on Tuesday.

HOT

Mount Olive (+4)

After falling in two straight games, Mount Olive was clinging to a spot in the top 20. But the Trojans responded well on Saturday, taking down Belmont Abbey in convincing fashion. With two games remaining until the conference tournament, Mount Olive will likely hang on in the rankings.

Florida Tech (+2)

The Panthers just keep rolling. They picked up two wins last week — one over a solid Lynn team by eight goals, and another over Palm Beach Atlantic. Now with six straight wins, Florida Tech will enter the stretch run of the Sunshine State Conference with confidence.

NOT

Limestone (-5)

The Saints were one of the hottest teams in the country prior to last week, winning six straight and jumping back into the top 10. A loss to Queens (N.C.) is a significant setback for a team that lost three of its first five games. Add in a close call with Catawba over the weekend. and the margin for error is getting razor thin.

Belmont Abbey (-6)

After dropping a game to Mount Olive on Saturday, Abbey has now lost four of six games. The two wins that break the losing streak up? They came to Chowan and Emmanuel. The best results that Belmont Abbey has this season came in wins over Rollins, Florida Southern and Queens. A huge game with Limestone comes this weekend.

NEW

Queens (N.C.)

It’s been a rocky season for Queens, but signs are pointing in the right direction. The Royals have won four straight, including a 15-14 thriller over Limestone early last week. Queens has had its share of lopsided losses, but now owns victories over Mount Olive and Limestone.

OUT

Florida Southern

The Mocs lost two games last week — one to Tampa by six goals and another to Rollins by five goals. The road gets even tougher for Florida Southern, with games against Saint Leo and Florida Tech this week.
